From the College Website We a set of philanthropists who have staunch belief on Aravindar and hailing from Pondicherry have established a trust in the name of Aravindar as SRI ARAVINDAR EDUCATIONAL TRUST in the year 1998.
The ardent aim and desire of the Trust is to produce dynamic citizens for the country by imparting a board stream of advanced learning, infusing discipline and inculcating social responsibility to as to achieve Prosperity in life. Thus the Motto of the Trust has been coined as ""EDUCATION FOR PROSPERITY"".
The Trust started ""SRI ARAVINDAR ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE"" in the year 2000 . Over ten years the College has grown as Post Graduation institution and recognized University Grants Commission under 2(f) scheme. The College is also a certified institution by ISO 9001:2008. The College has been producing meritorious students who have scored several top University ranks over ten years.
As a Second Educational Institution the Trust started ""SRI ARAVINDAR VIDHYALAYA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL"" in the year 2004 which has been upgraded as a Matriculation High School. The School is very much renowned for its standard around this area.
Having set up two reputed educational institutions, the Trust gained confidence and started ""SRI ARAVINDAR ENGINEERING COLLEGE"" in2008 with due approval by AICTE and Govt. of Tamilnadu. The College is also affiliated to the world renowned Anna University.
The College as four branches of Engineering / Technology and two more branches were added in the year 2010. I feel proud to say that the first batch of students in four branches has gone out with flying colors. Over 80% of the students have left the portals with offer letters from reputed companies.
The College management is taking all active steps to go further so as to make the institution at par with one of the National Level Institutions.
