From the College Website Jayaram College of Engineering and Technology is providing quality education in the field of engineering to the students since 1994 from all parts of our country.This prestigious institution was found by Gandhi Rural Development Educational Trust ,No.10, Mambhazhasalai, Trichy with the approval of AICTE,New Delhi (NO. F.No. 45-54/B-11/Rc(MB)/92/398/April 15,1994),affiliated to Bharathidasan University.Later,from 31.12.2001,the college is affiliated to Anna University,Chennai.
The faculty, with adequate industrial exposure are highly qualified, dedicated and committed to the students fraternity. There is equal emphasis on theoretical concepts as well as practical insights which makes our programmes the right weapons to conquer the career goals.
The campus is fully wi-fi enabled and comprises aesthetically designed buildings that are networked by optic fibre links. The Institution has established excellent infrastructure, modern workshops and labs, seminar halls, auditoriums and well stocked libraries, in addition to sports and games fields.
This Institution was formed under the Gandhi Rural Educational Development Trust under the Chairmanship of Er. M. Subramaniam on 14th November 1994 with 3 UG Courses (Mech, ECE & CSE) affiliated to Bharathidasan University. Subsequently, 3 UG Courses in Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering & 5 PG Courses in MCA, ME (Communication Systems), ME (CSE), ME (Manufacturing Engg) and ME (Applied Electronics). At present, all the above courses are offered under the Anna University Curriculum. The College Started off with a humble beginning on November 14th, 1994 and is situated 35 kilometres from Trichy on the Trichy- Thuraiyur Road. We are an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution."
