Sardar Raja colleges was founded in the year 1984 by the great Philanthropist and Educational visionary Sardar Dr.S.A.Raja. Born in a poor family in a small village in Vadakangulam in Tamilnadu, our founder chairman served the Indian military for 15 years, worked in Saudi Arabia for 10 years and then decided to invest all his earnings and his rest of his life for the upliftment of the poor people by providing them quality higher education. Love and Serve Mankind through Education is our motto.
Sardar Raja College of Engineering - SRCE came into existence in the year 2000 by the side of Tenkasi-Tirunelveli Highway on a Sprawling Campus of more than 25 acres under the leadership of Er.A.Jesus Raja. After completing his BE in Mechanical Engg, he went on to do his Post Graduate in Business Management. The college has been progressing well under his dynamic leadership.
The college started with three UG courses in engineering disciplines namely Mechanical Engg, Computer Science & Engg and Electronics & Communication Engg., and then Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering were started in the year 2002 and 2006 respectively. Three PG courses M.E - Applied Electronics, M.E - Computer Science & Engg and MCA were started in the year 2009. After that two PG courses M.E - Structural Engg and M.E - Power Systems were started in the year 2010. As on today the college has 1260 students in its roll."
