Sree Sastha College of Engineering is located at Sastha Nagar, Chembarambakkam Village, on the Chennai –Bangalore Highway near Poonamallee. It is located in a natural atmosphere area adjacent to Chembarambakkam Lake, which is one of the major source of water supply to Chennai Metropolitian City. The Institution is situated in the eastern wing of Sastha Group of Institutions. It is located 25 km from Chennai Central Railway Station 20 km from Chennai Domestic and International Airport and 15 km from Chennai Metropolitan Bus Terminus (CMBT).
The Institution is having good Infrastructural facilities such as Spacious Class Rooms, Tutorial Halls, Drawing Halls, Well equipped Laboratories, Work Shops, Spacious Library, Computer Labs, Canteen, Waiting Rooms for Boys and Girls separately, Administrative Office, Principal Office etc. Hostels for Boys and Girls are available separately. Adequate College owned Transport Buses are available to commute the students and staff members from different parts of the Chennai Metropolitan City. Play Grounds are available to develop sports activities among the students. Medical Centre and telephone facilities are also available in the campus. Sree Sastha College of Engineering is having a spacious Library measuring more than 5200 sq.ft area. There are at present 7000 books available on 2100 different titles on the subjects of E.E.E., E.C.E., C.S.E., I .T., Mech. and S&H. The Journals on different fields are available at National and International levels to develop the research activities among the staff and students. The Library is having Reference Section for referring important rare books, hand books and encyclopedia. The Library is having Reception Counter, Stack Room, Study Halls, Journal Section, Digital Library etc. The students and staff members are permitted to take Library Books on deposition of Library tokens as per the Institution Norms."
