GENERAL

Prathyusha Institute Of Technology And Management, Chennai popularly known as PITAM is the brain child of the well known industrialist and philanthropist Shri. P. Raja Rao, the founder Chairman of the Governing Board of the College. PITAM is a self-financed Telugu Minority Institution approved by AICTE, affiliated to Anna University, accredited by NBA and a recipient of ISO certification.Â


The college offers 7 UG courses and 7 PG Courses  with an annual intake of 1068 students. The over all students strength of the college is 3000.Â

FACILITIES

PITAM has well furnished ICT Class rooms, well furnished state of the art laboratories, Modern Seminar Hall and in each department. The central computing  Lab on par with IT Industry standards have very unique facilities . The building housed  with more than 2000 personal computer systems . 12 Mbps Internet Connectivity with Wi Fi campus.Â

The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of NPTL connection , CD-ROMs, On-line databases, books, e-journals, patents, e-standards, theses, reports, etc. The central Library has more than 50000 volumes by eminent authors on various engineering subjects.Â

PLACEMENTS RECORDS AND MOU :

PITAM has signed more than 25 MOUs with other organizations and Industries such as :
Infosys Technologies – campus connect programme , Technophillia Systems, Mumbai for Robotics and Embedded System Excellence , Cornerstone Consulting for soft skill training, , National Instruments, Bangalore for NI lab academy , CLRI etc.Â

PITAM also conducts training programmes such as foundation and basic course in English, foreign language(Japanese and German) , Soft skill and aptitude training to all the students of the college during various semesters. Â

HOSTEL & MESS

PITAM Provides

  • Hostel facilities with a capacity of 1000 Boys and 500 Girls.
  • Recreation hall, internet browsing and indoor games in a separate building with in the campus.
