SRMCE is a premier institution in Tamilnadu with high standards. Our College was established in 2011; at the outskirts of Cheyyar town as a response to the clarion call made by the public for a quality engineering institution in this part of north Tamilnadu. Our institution is one of the best institutions nurtured by Sri Ramana Magarishi Educational Trust, Kanchipuram.

This college is Approved by AICTE, and affiliated to Anna University. This institution is fully equipped with latest facilities, excellent infrastructures, and well experienced faculty members.

The college offers a total of 5 full time programs in Engineering Education in various departments at UG levels. The college is housed in Sri Ramana Maharishi College of Engineering Campus, Thumbai Village, and Kanchipuram Cheyyar Main Road Cheyyar. The Campus is spread over an area of around 12 acres abutting State Highway.

The Institution is situated 6 kms from Cheyyar bus Stand and 25 kms from Kanchipuram bus Stand. Kanchipuram is the nearest railway Station. The Institution is well connected to two major Railway Junctions viz., Katpadi and Arakkonam

General Rules and Regulations

1. Students should not leave the College premises during the class hours without the permission of competent authority.
2. Late comers will not be allowed to the classes.
3. Students will be responsible for all equipment entrusted to them.
4. Cell phones are banned within the campus.
5. Students should compulsorily wear their Identity Cards within the campus and follow dress code.
6. The management reserves the right to modify the class timings and schedule.
7. Ragging is totally banned and is punishable as per the Tamilnadu Government and Anna University Order.
8. The decision of the Principal is final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Institution.
9. Legal disputes, if any, are subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at Chennai.

Attendance

1. Absence from attending the classes without prior permission is a breach of discipline and such absences will attract punishment and should be avoided.
2. Absence for more than a week without getting prior permission from the HOD / Principal may lead to removal of the name from the nominal roll.
3. Sri Ramana Maharishi College of Engineering Students appearing for the University Examinations must have at least 75% of attendance as per the rules of Anna University.

Fee Structure

1. Fee should be paid either in Cash or Bank Demand Draft at the College Office.
2. Cheques will not be accepted.
3. Delay in payment of term fee will invite a fine of Rs.500/-
