About The Trust: Sri Muthumari Charitable and Educational Trust is a a group of like minded patrons regarded for their academic interest and service to the quality of education. The Trust's Colleges have been functioning as role models for self-supporting institutions. The group is a known as a source for promoting education to the excluded community. The group's objective is to train students in every domain of human activity with a perfect balance of individual growth and community development. They have inculcated innovative programmes and relevant result oriented research programmes in their institutions.
Activities of the Trust: The Trust has been engaged in various social activities from its inception. Finding the plight of the rural students in getting higher education Trust took the task of establishing Educational Institutions with a pure motive of providing educational opportunities to a broad spectrum of students especially those from the rural areas and weaker section of the Society. Sri Raaja Raajan College of Education was started in the year 2007 and it has grown in stature and established itself. A clear plan is there in the minds of the Management for its development. Considering that the percentage of population pursuing higher education after schooling is very low in our country and the prosperity of a country depends on the percentage of youth pursuing higher education, The Trust have Plans in establishing a Teacher Training College. The Trustees have a higher aim of converting the Karaikudi a rural town as a hub of prosperous educational activities.
