The Kavery Engineering College is one of the tributaries of the Kavery institutions. True to its name, it is a perennial source of scientific and technical knowledge like the river Cauvery. The Kavery Engineering College was established in the year 2006 by a trust of philanthropists with a view of disseminating technical and scientific knowledge to the students of rural areas. Hence it has sprung up in a hamlet named Mecheri in Salem district. The institution was established in the year 2006 with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University. This Institution offers 6 Under graduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Two PostGraduate Course MCA & MBA. The first batch of students have come out successfully during may 2010."
