SRS College of Engineering & Technology is the founding Engineering Institution of Swathi Educational and Charitable Trust. The College was started in 2009 with four branches of Undergraduate engineering, namely B.E. Automobile Engineering, B.E.Computer Science and Engineering, B.E.Civil Engineering, B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and B.E.Mechanical Engineering. The AICTE Approved the new Post Graduate Course M.E. Computer Science & Engineering from the year of 2012. The courses are approved by AICTE and affiliated to the ANNA University of Technology, coimbatore. Today, the College offers several Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes in Engineering.

Promoters have a broad perspective of creating educational opportunities for the benefit of the needy particularly in rural area. As there is great need of development of human resources to meet the global demand, the Trust envisages offering programmes in the Engineering College to produce talented young Technocrats.
