The KCT has been established jointly by the Founder Mr. J.Ilango,B.A., B.L ., Lawyer, Educationist and Philanthropist and by the Chairman Mrs. Kala Reena, B.Com ., a Socialite and Reformist. The institution is established with a mission of offering technical education to the aspirants who look for quality and value based technical education. The KCT is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University - Coimbatore . The institution is functioning with a motto of shaping it as""Knowledge Centre"" in imparting skills and talent in transforming the students as Innovators and achievers in their professional career.

The Institution is located just 7 KMs from Namakkal Town on the Namakkal - Trichy National Highway .
