From the College Website Gnanamani College of Technology (GCT) established in the year 2006 and Gnanamani College of Engineering (GCE) established in the year 2009 are part of Gnanamani Educational Institutions which have carved a niche for itself in the field of Engineering education within a very short span. Apart from these Engineering Colleges the group comprises of Gnanamani Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) established in the year 2009 and Gnanamani College of Education, established in the year 2005. These Institutions serve under the aegis of The Christian Education Development Trust.

The students are taught at Gnanamani institutions with a technological approach and are given the opportunity to learn using innovative teaching techniques. Qualified faculty members under the supervision of the two eminent principals are assigned with various theory subjects prepare course plans using the standard format provided by the institute with emphasis on 'learning' of the students.
The instructional or lecture delivery of the faculty will be through a set of Educational Technology and latest Tools opted by the faculty. The College is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. The college offers four undergraduate and two post graduate courses in engineering discipline.
