Presently, about 1500 students are studying. SACS MAVMM Engineering College is approved by AICTE and Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Madurai. This Institution is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

The college is situated on a commodious campus in Kidaripatty near Alagarkoil, 25 KM away from Madurai. This college has lush, green, beautiful campus with an excellent geographical location situated in front of Alagarkoil Hills, Madurai with a vast area of 26 acres.
The Director:
Prof. P. Manjunatha Rao, the Director has been an academician throughout his career. He has 50 years of teaching, research and administration experience. He is a personality known for his sincerity, commitment and hardwork. He was awarded “Best Engineer” by the Institution of Engineers (India), Madurai for his contribution to technical education on the Engineers Day, September 2000.
The Principal:
Dr. K. Kumarasamy, the Principal has a vast industrial experience of about 12 years worked with several well known organisations; he worked in Middle East country too. He has about 18+ years of experience in Teaching. He is strong in Structural Engineering.

A 108 member strong team of Faculty with versatile academic, research and consultancy experience dedicate themselves to the academic activities of the college.
