From the College Website PERI Institute of Technology (PERI IT) was established for providing Technical Education of High Quality to the youth. This objective has been transformed into reality by the sustained and focused efforts of Mr. Sarav Periasamy, the founding President & CEO of PERI Software Solutions Inc., headquartered in New Jersey, U.S.A and has branches in other parts of U.S.A, China and India.
The Institute is built at Mannivakkam, Chennai – 600 048 in a sprawling area of 15 Acres with modern facilities & amenities congenial for higher learning. PERI IT is recognized as an institution offering technical education by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai.

PERI Institute of Technology has been established by PERI Educational and Charitable Trust.
Mr. Sarav Periasamy , the CEO of PERI Software Solutions, a leading multinational IT Consulting and Services Company based in USA, is the chief promoter of the PERI Educational and Charitable Trust. Mr. Sarav Periasamy has a Bachelors degree in Engineering in Electronics and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is the source of inspiration and is the pathfinder for this institution. The vision of PERI Educational & Charitable Trust is to provide a world class nodal centre of education where besidesa academics, focus would be on the development of visualization, application, communication, comprehension, leadership and delegation skills through encouraging research, training and development in both technical and non technical areas.
ADMINISTRATION
The administration and management of the Institution lies in the hands of the Governing Council.
The Governing council consists of a group of eminent scholars, academicians, and leading industrialists with rich knowledge, vast experience and ability, and they would be the guiding spirit for the management, the students and the faculty.
