IGCET Educational Trust A.C.T Educational trust was established by eminent people of vision to serve different spheres of society by providing goal-oriented education. IGCET college of Engineering and Technology for Women which functions under the trust, will be a model world and it's knowledge society. Society expects them to be effective professionals and role models. Experts of excellence are provided to impart skills that match state of that art in whatever branch of knowledge they function. Role models have the scared task of shaping the young mind by nurturing it on values and life skills. Accessibility The College is situated on the Chengalpattu-Kancheepuram high road, just four kilometers from the Chengalpattu Bus Stand and Railway station. Moreover there is a Railway station. (Reddipalayam)just behind the College itself which makes it still more convenient for the parents and students reach the College. Also buses from various strategic points to College facilitate the journey of the students comfortable and pleasurable. The entire landscape round the College with its greenery adds to a natural face-lift to the College. Another striking feature of the institution is the superfluous infra-structure in the inception level itself which leaves a dignified impression to the College-naturally to be ranked among a few Engineering Colleges in the fore front.
