Agni College of Technology was established in the year 2001 by Sri Balaji Charitable and Educational Trust with the objective of producing high quality engineers and technocrats. The rapid progress made by our country in the field of Science and technology has given rise to a phenomenal demand for qualified engineers in all areas and to cope up the demand there has been a surge in institutions offering engineering education. The campus with well built class rooms, fully equipped laboratories, workshops, modern computer center and a well stocked library compares with the best available elsewhere. The management has also taken all efforts to build a team of committed teachers who form an integral part of the college in its growth. The college is situated in Thalambur, which is 20 kms from Adyar and 3 kms from Navalur off the Old Mahabalipuram Road (IT Highway), and is well connected by road. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and Accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi."
