Ponmudi Muthusamy Gounder Trust, Tirupur was founded in the memory of the birthplace and father of the founder Chairman Sri A.M.Kandaswami, Philanthropist and Industrialist with a resolve to serve the society by providing quality education. The philosophical attitude and benevolent activity of the founder and his family paved the way for creation of Nyruthi Matric Higher Secondary School at Tirupur during the year 1998, Sasurie College of Engineering in the year 2001 and Sasurie Academy of Engineering in the year 2007. In every era, a renowned personality emerges from the society to guide the generations towards better living and a brighter future. While these kind of personalities are far ahead of their times, however, their way of living and moral actions set an example for others to follow for a long, long time to come. One such personality - Sri A.M. Kandaswami - an eminent industrialist by profession and philanthropist by actions, founded Ponmudi Muthusamy Gounder Trust with a noble mission of providing quality education in the memory of his beloved father and birth place. His generosity and the benevolence of his family members resulted in the formation of a number of prestigious educational institutions in Tamilnadu.
