Rathinam plays a larger role by pioneering education, Information Technology, and other infrastructure development (IT Parks I SEZ, Housing and Entertainment zone) in south Coimbatore. The Single sprawling 70 acres campus, Rathinam Techzone, developed by the group is located on NH-209 within Coimbatore city limits. As a latest addition into Rathinam Techzone Campus, Rathinam group has started an engineering college which would start functioning from the academic year 2011 -2012. The Campus is designed in such a way that it will accommodate entertainment zone, hospital, and other facilities in up-coming years. The Rathinam Institute of Technology (Rathinam Technical Campus) is an idea and a new initiative in education that takes the concept of education to a higher stratum. What it offers impacts all aspects of life, of which learning is just one aspect. It's an experience that no other educational institution in the category can offer. It's about life-in all its dimensions: Learning, Working and Living. That's the Rathinam difference. It adopts what education in the future would be by keeping in mind that any learning environment that exists in isolation, divorced from the reality of the world, is bound to be regressive. Rathinam Institute of Technology (Rathinam Technical Campus) is set inside a sprawling 70 acre Rathinam Techzone housing IT Parks, Special Economic Zone, and Educational Institutions.
