"From the College Website Chairman Dr.K.V.Kupusamy, our Chairman was born in an ordinary agricultural family and started his family life with a nominal monthly income. The intuition to contribute for the cause of education and social service arose in him with an unforgettable tragic event in his family life. This resulted in the formation of a Matriculation School and success kindled his inspiration leading to the formation of a number of educational institutions within a short span of time. Our chairman is a visionary with commitment and hard work. His dreams have come true in the past twenty odd years in the form of educational institutions. He is a believer of all the faiths professed in this land of religions. His piety led to the construction of a marvel structure of Kumaran Kottam, a temple with a blend of South Indian and North Indian architecture. His dedication to the cause of education stands in the form of about 30 educational institutions all over Tamil Nadu. He yearns to be an agriculturist and his aspiration to achieve in the field of agriculture has resulted in the formation and development of agricultural farms at five different places of Tenkasi, Dadankulam in Thoothukudi district, Tanjore, Sempatti and Sengathurai.He is a multi dimensional personality and is called ""Anmiha Selvar"", ""Kalvi Chittar"" and ""Vellan Vithagar"". The institutions under the Trust created by him stand as embodiment of his vision and mission.Thiru Senthil Ganesh, our Managing trustee is the second son of our Chairman. Managing Trustee Senthil Ganesh, Managing Trustee of RVS Group Academic Background Holds BBA and MBA degree from Texas A&M University, USA, which he completed in 1997. Has membership in the Honours Society of Texas A&M University and a member of Financial Management Association, USA. M. Sc (Software Engineering) from University of Westminster, London UK in 2004. Currently pursuing his Doctoral Programme in Strategic Management. Industry Experience Business Application Developer at Zales Corporation, Texas, USA during 1997 -1998 Promoter and Senior Consultant at Mantel Corp, USA which is a software consultancy for servicing Fortune 500 clients like Sprint and AT&T during 1998 -2002 Achievements in RVS Group Managing Trustee of the colossal RVS Group comprising of eight Trusts and 88 diverse institutions encompasses various fields such as education, agriculture, medical and social. He pilots this conglomerate which has 3000 employees and 20,000 students under its fold spread all over Tamil Nadu. In 2008 RVS College of Arts & Science was ranked fourth position among 200 colleges in Coimbatore by Times of India and Economic Times. In 2009, RVS College of Arts & Science was given an award by Bharathiar University for the maximum number of enrollment of foreign students. In 2010, RVS Institute of Management Studies & Research was ranked 44 in the country wide survey of The Week magazine. Awards Received Shiksha Rattan Puraskar Certificate of Excellence by India International Friendship Society in January 2010. International Achievers Award for Education Excellence by Indian Achievers Forum at Indo-Thai Entrepreneurs Summit in August 2010 Vision and Mission Architectural education is primarily concerned with providing the students the highest of knowledge, skill and competence in the arts and science of architecture. The school will work towards providing the students with practical and challenging training in the use of information technology that reflect the state – of – the – art architecture and establish a foundation for their practice in the future. The school will also orient the students in the formation of high moral values and shape them towards leadership roles in the development tasks of community and nation building."
