From the College Website MEENAKSHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING was started in the year 2001 with an enviable learning environment. The college has been growing from strength to strength in the past 11 years. The courses offered are B.E in CSE,ECE, EEE, E&I, Mech, Civil, B.Tech (IT), B.Arch, MBA, MCA & M.E in CSE & PED. The college is located in the heart of the city at West K.K Nagar and is easily accessible from different parts of Chennai and its suburbs. The campus is situated amidst spacious surroundings. The college features well furnished and air conditioned labs; aesthetic landscaping and tree-line walk ways reflect all-green campus. The college has a strong industry interaction with reputed organizations.
General Rules
- Identity Cards must be worn all the time inside the college campus.
- Ragging and Eve - Teasing process will be severly punished.
College Timings
- Students are not permitted to enter the campus after 9:30 am.
- Students are not allwoed to leave the campus before 4:15 pm.
- Visitors are not allowed during class hours.

- All requistion letters (includes Bonafide Certificates, Schorships, Implant Training), leave letters, medical certificates, hostel and permission should be addressed to the principal.
Dress Code
- All male students must wear self coloured pants with their shirst tucked in and must wear shoes ( black or brown ).
- All female students must wear chudidhar with dhupata, and must wear canvas cut ( pump ) shoes.
- Slippers are not permitted.
- The dress code must be followed in Labs also, along with their lab coats and shoes prescribed.
Leave Rules
- One Day Leave - leave letters must be submitted the previous working day, incase if the submission is delayed, the parent / guardian should countersign the leave application.
- Two or More Days - leave letters must be submitted the previous working day, and parent / guardian should countersign the leave application.
- Medical Leave - leave letters must be attached with the Medical Certificate, and duly countersigned by the parent / guardian.
